Overdraft usage above and beyond your established Courtesy Pay Overdraft limit may result in transactions being returned to the payee. A Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) Fee will be charged per item and assessed to your account. A Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) Fee notice will be sent to notify you of our actions. There is no limit to the number of Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) Fees we will charge per check and ACH payment transactions that are rejected.
Note that you may be charged a Courtesy Pay Overdraft (if you are within your Courtesy Pay Overdraft limit) or Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) Fee each time an item is presented for payment, even if the same payment item was previously rejected and is being re-presented. However, if an ACH payment is re-presented after previously being rejected, and it is labeled by the merchant as a "Retry," then you will not be charged a Courtesy Pay Overdraft or Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) Fee other than the first time it is presented. We will rely on the merchant’s designation of a transaction to determine whether it is a “Retry” and your only recourse for improperly designated transactions is with the merchant you were attempting to pay.
